Mike and the entire Kartel family, Balliztik family too. The show was a blast! I haven't had that much fun in a long time. You're right about the mini trucking scene being different than the Scion scene. I was in clubs back in the late 70's and early 80's, it was fun and love back then.

For the haters:
Going to a show like the CHOC event this weekend and being ticked becuase your ride or your friends ride didn't win is weak sauce! I'm sorry if you missed the theme of the show "Pay It Forward". It wasn't about winning a trophy it was about showing support for the Peters family and the kids who need our help at CHOC.

(surfcitylocal) i'm not a hater and i dont appriciate you calling me that if you had read what i wrote then you would realize i'm not at all a hater...i didnt miss what the theme was i gave my toy and money so dont come at me like i didnt know what was going on ok cuz i was apart a balliztik back when i first got my scion so i have nothing but love for them.....
for everyone who has took what i said and blew it way out of content then you guys cant read and dont understand what i was saying... my heart goes out to the whole balliztik family and the show was off the hook...i've been saying that for the longest....
and as for kartel i'm sorry that everyone took what i said i twisted it in other ways i wasnt coming down on you or anyone else in your club nor the CHOC

 

Wow, this show looked like it was great. Wish I could've been there in support but I started my job the same weekend and worked 11 hours that day! Great to know the turn out was fantastic.

I think a lot of people are blowing jdm ist's comment waaaaaay out of proportion. I didn't read his comment as if he was hating at all or being rude or anything any of you are perceiving it as negative. Everyone breathe and let it go. Move on...starting...NOW. :D

I took no offense in your comment either bro. I just wanted to explain how the judges were picked and why... It was their first time judging Scions and im sure they meant no disrespect. I m glad you came out but bummed i didnt get the chance to say SuP!!

You have my apology, I find myself more than a little protective of Mike and Karen. They have become good friends of mine since finding the Scion community. I read your post again and although I would have liked to see no complaints about judging (as happens after every show) you weren't making the common "I should have won" slam on the judging. Sorry for blowing it up and making you look like a bad guy. I know you're not.

I do still hope that we will be going to the CHOC drive together, cool?

 

i'm down to go and i know i can get some of my members to go out and show some love also...and its cool i know how things get after shows and someone always has something bad to say about the show and that wasnt my intent at all...but yeah i hope we are still cool man...

we had a blast. props to you and your family for putting this together after what your family has gone through. this kind of show is not about winning, its about the kids that need this kind of stuff to pull them through their life threating illnesses. i will continue to support these kind of shows, it for the kids, plain and simple. thanks again to baliztik for putting on this show... can't wait until the choc cruise!!!! peace.

you all have to try and make this......Theres some really cool cars and people there from all over! Big trucks,mini trucks,cruisers, you name it. No one cares about anything but giving to the kids!

 

Yeah it would be hard not to make it Especially cause I have so much time to plan for it

 

we had a blast on choc cruize #7, can't what for this on!!!!! bump for the kidz!!!
