This Mon-Tues my xD is going to be at Tanabe for test fitting stuff, and basically my ride (my bf) just backed out. So... I'm driving 1hr North to drop my car off and I'm going to be stranded for two days.

Anyone in that area know of public transportation that I can take to get back home? =\ I wish this had happened before I confirmed with Tanabe, but he (bf) is being a real @$$ and won't give me a ride back down South.

Help!

ps - I'm kinda scared of taxi's and buses btw. A lot of horror stories for girls using those things, and then not knowing how to ride the bus haha. So... I'm hoping theres a train station around the Tanabe building or something. Wah

man, why is he being rudeish fish with you? lol, you should threaten him with no bed time activities for the next whole month. it sure beats to come back safely. do that if you have to!

okay okay, but to be realistic. buy a bottle of pepper spray if you end up on bus or something.

 

IIRC, Tanabe is in Torrance... where do you live? There's a Metro Rail station over in Redondo Beach but it depends on whether you can take the train back to where you live. Otherwise I'm sure there's plenty of ScionLife members who would be willing to give you a life.

I live in Lake Forest, southern Orange County. It's an hour drive from my place to theirs. If the tracks go to Union Station in LA then I can take a train back to my area.

Though it seems my bf is going to do it now. And I thought women were fickle!!!

 

I think Tanabe gives you a loaner car. Also Torrance (at least where tanabe is located) is nowhere near a metro train station. You could always rent a car, it would be way cheaper than a cab.

 

That would be cool to have a Tanabe car, but I haven't heard anything about that.

I was looking for local stations but I didn't see any. Which sucks.

 

I don't know if I can give you a full ride, but I'm okay with giving you a partial lift, if anyone else would like to be involved in a joint effort to give you a ride.

If anything happens and you really need a ride, I'll volunteer to take you home. I wouldn't want to be stuck an hour away from home.

oh wow...whats up with your boy! lol anyway, not going to get into your business or anything. as for tanabe giving you a loaner car, you should have asked them ahead of time or they should have warned you ahead of time if you are capable of finding a ride back...it wouldnt be fair for your part.

 

Oh well they had asked about me getting a ride back to my place and I said I had one, until earlier! Now it seems ok... Though if I do need a ride I'll... I dunno. I won't have access to a computer haha.

Also the area around Tanabe looks like Toyota owns that area of Torrance!
