yea i know there is but i was wondering if there is any in the kc area bc i dont wanna buy a piece of ____ hatch and not have the glass fit or rattle, it would be a waste of money, i would spend more on getting the hatch and glass not to rattle than on the actual hatch itself. i know the VIS makes one that is perfect but i dont want to spend 600 bucks on one. I found one for 350, lol, yea i know its a crap buy (ebay), but for that price or maybe not. What you guys think? ....shorberg.

STNC. You need to drop some pay checks on your ride. There is alot of stuff you can do to the tc without going poor. Well...its all bs stuff like lighting and etc but you get the piont. Heck alot of the stuff i have on my car which is not a lot i did all myself. But on the other hand all i think about is my car! Its my life and beer.

man, I have no idea about tha hatch guys . . .

I am thinking that whatever you get, even teh VIS one won't fit perfectly. About anything you do aftermarket isn't perfect. Alot of good stuff is real close, but it's hard to get it 100%, you know? plus evev if you were putting factory stuff in that was 100%, it still mioght rattle b/c it's hard to make things fit like they used to. That's kind of th eprice we pay to mod.

Here's my rules to live by.
1. be creative
2. do what YOU want
3. take as much time as it takes and don't rush it
4. spend as much as you can afford

wow, those could be rules for something else too

SPITE!!

Okay, everybody should know by now that I've had problems with EVERY aftermarket part I've ever put on my car. Replacing the entire hatch with an aftermarket bit (although cool as hell) just isn't something that I would recommend doing.

I garuntee it will leak/crack/warp/whistle/something. Especially so if you get the sucker off of eBay.

Also remember that you'll probably match your purchase price in labor to get that rear window, wiring, hardware and all that transferred to the new hatch.

If you do it, good luck! I'd love to see it, but I wouldn't do it to my own ride.
