Default Camping

I snagged the yurt a few weeks ago, but I'll be packing extra camping stuff if anyone needs a tent.
I was thinking it would be cool to have a designated Scion site for some late night around the campfire.

You guys could just pitch in and everyone just be part of camp one love. I have a huge tent, if you want me to pack it. then you just need some sleeping bags.

I can even bring a second tent for a his and hers. That may help keep the one love from going too far.

Let me know. I plan on getting there around noon Friday so I can scope out a good site. I know most people don't like to drop the extra coin on the electric sites, but they have some other advantages like parking situation, flush toilets/shower location. Plus I can likely set you guys up in section 1.

Rob- what time do you think you'll be down there? I'll probably be there at around 7:30 or so as a rough estimate.

FYI..for those of you who aren't camping or don't want to I called the Howard Johnson Express in Osage Beach and they quoted me $44.90 a night for a non-smoking, 2 queen bed room. (phone # 573-348-0600)

Make sure to ask for the special rate for the car show and tell them that you are participating.

It's a whole lot cheaper than the Holiday Inn.

Registration for the show itself is now officially closed. I just tried to pre-reg, now that I'm all but certain I can make it, and it wouldn't let me register. Oh well, that's what day of is for. See you all there.

All you Springfield folks leaving, feel free to meet at the dealership so you can caravan up together, just figure out what time you want to meet!

Looking at the weather forecast I might duck out on this.

Almost 90 degrees and thunderstorms all three days doesnt sound like very good car show or camping weather.

High: 83 °F RealFeel®: 82 °F
Times of clouds and sun with a couple of showers and a thunderstorm; breezy

a light rain and 83 degrees with a breeze sounds like great car show weather!

Through rain, through sleet, through dark of night, Scions shall gather.

...or something like that. I'll be heading straight up from work Friday night. I should roll in around 8pm or so. Hope I get to sneak out a little early so I don't have to put up my tent in the dark.

Your not aiming this in my direction are you? I actually have a house to stay and party in so the rain really doesnt matter.
