I got the bad news today from Scion that my RS 3.0 xB got hail damage at the KC.
It was to be here sometime this week and now I have to wait for the next one off of allocation (if there are any left to get).

So if any of you dealers get a call from me about a dealer trade.. please help me out.

 

sorry to hear that, so what will happen to it? will they fix it? replace the # with another one? just let there only be 2499 of them now? what is the deal? I wonder what will happen with the one I am waiting for . . .

 

They will actually go to the auction. Won't be sold thru a dealership.

Yeah the adams toyota dealership got hit hard on sunday about 50 cars taken off the lot cause of hail damage... sadly mine got hail on the roof

I was in St. Louis last weekend when the big storms hit. There was golfball sized hail reported in the STL area, but thank goodness, none got my car.

 

It hailed on my car but I didn't get any damage thank god.

 

Phil is da man!!!!!!

The replacement RS 3.0 should get here any time soon.

 

Mine was also damaged in the hail storm in KC. Dealer called today and said 3-8 weeks for another. I am looking elsewhere for one. How can I get one any sooner. Im so down right now. It was 30 minutes away from my ___ siting in the driver seat.....

Alex was down at WOW in KC this weekend, I'm sure he'll get back to you. Or you could PM Ciscob he works for Cedar Rapids Toyota,they have a RS3 on the lot there.

 

Well the dealer Im going through in Kansas tells me there is no RS 3.0 in Kansas, Missouri or Iowa. He says hes called everyone. He did get someone in North Dakota to dealer trade one that they have coming so hoping this one works out. Pray for us....LOL

Fortunately, I did manage to play a small part in getting Mary her car. Serve up a big thanks to Mark Olson Mary. He busted his butt for you!


On the downside, one of my customer's xBs got hail that weekend as well. It really sucks since he's been working on getting this car for over 9 months now! Oh well, he knows it's nobody's fault and he's being really cool with us about it. Hopefully we can get him the car he wants very soon.

Intersesting, as of Saturday the RS3 at Cedar RApids Scion was still for sale, maybe they just weren't willing to trade.... taht would be my guess.

 

Im very grateful for all the help we're getting. The sales team at Crown Scion has been nothing but nice and helpful. Shout out to Jake and Brandon. We havent quite waited 9 months, but it sure feels like it. Thanx to Mark O, and a team of others Im sure, for their parts.
