Nice looking bike Frosty -- How much of a "chunk" did the other shop remove from the
bead package area? I've been around the tire business for half of my life and thats not
a area of the tire that you want to take for granted. I would never recommend a "tube"
because the tire was in new condition. That has "Liability" wrote all over it. Park the
bike - save for a new shoe - be safe. I would rather have you be bummed that you gotta
spend more money on it than hear you were in really bad accident because of a tire
failure.

Just my .02 bro

Take care man

Wow?! really? Why are tubes so bad? Everything used to have tubes didn't it?
The chunk was big enough that the tire would go totally flat in a week. So I would check it everyday I rode.

It's not that "tubes" are bad but they have their place, but not in a tire that has been
damaged. Whether it be sidewall damage or bead damage your only putting your "life"
at risk.

Pm me I'll give you # -- We can talk instead of type.

Those tires that you see in that pic were only on there for a week. Before having the ones put on that they mess up at the first place.
The first place took a chunk out of the back side of the bead causing a 15 psi leak in 24 hours.
