Default Funny Story....

So back in april i bought my xb. I got it from an auto auction from a car dealer. When ig ot it i got the temp tags with it. I got my title "filed" at the dmv, so i could get it in my name, so i could get a loan against it. After the tags expired, i took in the reciept from filing the title, and got my plates...

The other day i realized i never got emissions, but got my plates, and my registration with out it..... How did the dmv overlook this one... Haha i totally spaced it out.. Is colorado dmv getting a little lax.... All my other cars had to have everything... haha i hope i dont get tracked down my the dmv mafia.... haha

Well out here in CO, idk if its in every state or what, but When u first buy a car you have to go get your emissions tested, before you can get your license plates. And somehow, they overlooked that, because i got a temporary registration paper, when i got the title in my name.. Im guessing.... haha

Yes, no emmisssions were required on our '05 tC either. You have no worries I'm sure. The DMV isn't gonna come take back your plates! LOL!

I moved here from WI late last year and I didn't have to get the emissions done on my 05 xB either. Something about the age of the vehicle. I did have to get it done on my 99 F150.

yes, in the state of Colorado there is no test needed for the first two years on some cars. There should be a little round sticker on the driver side, in the bottom corner. Burt Toyota left mine in. Some car dealers pull them out.

Emmissions testing has been suspended in colorado, They've got a Van parked at I25 nb exit onto I70 to see if they need to start checking again. See appearently when Emissions go DOWN to a safe level, they stop testing.

When was the last time anyone got tested? Do you have HEV?
