Local Powdercoating
Pristine powdercoating. The guy's name is Lee and it's just a one-man operation.
$45 1 layer powder/ wheel. (you only need 1 layer)
$15 clearcoat/ wheel
I picked a type of powder that has mica in it and doesn't need clearcoat, so I paid $180 for him to do my wheels.
The blasting which he outsources to a shop across the street charged me $150 to take off everything (powdercoat, plastic enamel undercoat)
Total was only $330 to refinish my wheels and look like new.

With the flash on so close it's a little on the bright side, but what's important is that the quality is very good. He repaired the wicked curb rash on all 4 of my wheels and they look pristine!
Fader, I know you were pricing out powdercoating places. I remember you wanted to do something a little different. Did you end up calling those places? Did Lee say he could do your wheels for you?

I think if there is a problem such as chipping, he'd take a look and if it was due to his work, he would happily do it over. He doesn't advertise, thus only working on referrals. He did repair for free. He took a file and edged down the curb rash on all 4 wheels before powder coating. No extra charge.
