how would that void your waranty you can undo it when you need to just cut it in a place that would be easily soldered back together and ground it

good point...do you know anyone around here that has taken one apart....cause i haven't done it, but would be willing to pay to even learn how to do it..

well i read that some people had done that so they could turn it on and off bc the av system worked better when it was on...i don't think just grounding the brake will allow dvd to play

we can just cut the "yellow" wire and then ground the ebrake....then if i need a switch later i will do that...

yeah the e brake is what i think controls the system lock out atleast on mine it is suposed to i just hooked it right to closest bolt to the front that i could hook to worked well

right but the new xd navigation system is not only an ebrake thing, its a speed sensor and that why i have to cut the wire behind tha navigation system
