thats why i have to do the above ^ because that is the speed sensor...and thats why i was talking about putting in a switch

Hmm, you've confirmed this on the Scion Navi System (SNS 100)?

I know this works on the Toyota and Lexus nav systems, but didn't realize it worked ion the Scion one as well.

Please confirm it's working, I'm eager to give it a try...

/\ that doesn't work. The nav system is hooked up to a speedo sensor wire. The only way to get the functions to work is to cut the yellow speedo wire. The only reason you would need to ground the parking break is if you wanted to watch dvd's while in motion.
