Default Stealth xA rear hatch enclosure

Pics of install coming soon...

I ordered the first production version of the eD Scion "devo hat" xA rear hatch stealth enclosure. I got tired of having my already tiny hatch space eaten up by a 12" Image Dynamics ID12v3 sub and enclosure. It will mean downsizing to a 10" eD SQ10, but in a car this small, it should be sufficient. I'm also working on plans for an xA underseat enclosure for the SQ10 which would fit under the passenger seat.

It's not up on the Elemental Designs website yet, but eD will be offering two versions of the xA stealth enclosure... one with the enclosure only and one with the enclosure and the replacement hatch floor. This enclosure retains the factory spare!

I picked up the enclosure only and will be fabricating my own replacement hatch floor with recessed amp racks for my Directed 1200t amps.

See this thread for more info and pictures of the prototype:

i tried the same thing with a 12 before...but there wasn't enough air space and it sounded terrible.

good luck with the 10!

The nice thing about the SQ10 is that it's a low profile sub and only require 0.3ft^3.

Folks on the Icixsounds.com forums have been raving about the SQ10. It's a relatively cheap sub and enclosure... I can always leave my 12" in there if it's not enough
