Default supercharger

Hey guys I dont visit much sorry, and sorry for steeling the thread but. I work in service for JE Honda and dont have a problem installing it myself its the reflash that worrys me. after my research I'm deffinatly doing myself. my problem is I was counting on the good ol employee discount from JE Scion (since I drove 35 miles to buy the car from them) there trying to tell me that they cant give me discount on scion parts but they already have and its making me angry. I sold my truck for 2900.00 and have already spent like 300. so I have to wait for more money and hope that some one will do the reflash for me since I dont have the tool. It sucks being a mechanic and not being able work on your car without paying a price . I'm talking to the sales guy hoping he can pull some strings for me. I'll keep everyone updated and hopefully it'll be on before the next meet . anyway I hope to make it make it to the next meet anyway and if, (if) the SC is on any one who wants a ride is more than welcome.

cherry box. were you on NB I-25 a few days ago over by six flags could I've checked your profile and I could of sworn I saw you. I waved but I don't think any one saw me.

Yup that was me. Getting it in about 30 minutes right now. Then im going to wash my car up and goto the Pederson Scion Fusion meet this afternoon.

Wow the Injen Exhuast is the bomb. It sounds so nice and deep, exactly what I wanted. The videos posted here on scionlife dont do it much justice on how good it sounds.

Default Update

ok guys I'm terrably sorry to announce that I will not be gettin the supercharger any time in the immediate future.

after talking with the guys at elway toyota my employee discount is only 120 bucks. the total price after is 3290.00 and I sold my truck for 2900. so with my six months of insurance due next week I and car payment and student loans I dont have the extra money to make up the difference.

Also a friend that helped bail me out once now needs my help and nows I have the money to loan I have to whats right at pay up.

So since I have to wait a while for the charger I went ahead and orded the megan racing drift spec exhaust and down pipe. this should keep me mod happy for a while.
Once I come up with the money for the supercharger I decided I'm going hold off the intall for a little extra suprise I have with it. cant tell you cause someone will beet me to my plans before I can do what I want.

I will still be at the spring dust to say hey to everyone. look forward to seeing you guys and sorry for getting your hopes up.

So, what's the deal with the Superchargers anyway. I hear that if you get it installed by the dealer that it will not void your warrantees on the car, but if you install it yourself, it voids all warrantees on the car for drivetrain, etc.
Is this true, or has anyone heard? I want to do the Supercharger upgrade, but don't want to void the car warrantees for everything else!

the warranty on a super charger.

If the super charger is installed by a toyota certified tech then the supercharger will maintain the same warranty as major coponants (engine, trans ect.) and will not void any other other warranty unless additional parts (pullys, intercooler ect.) can be proved to have affected the componant that is warrantied.

If the supercharger is installed by yourself or someone that is not toyota certified the scion warranty will not be voided unless installation or after market produt add-ons can be proven to affect the products warranty or if the installation of the SC itself can be proven to cause damage. the super charger however will only be warrantied for a 12 month 12,000 mile parts only warranty. I hope this helps if any questions e-mail me @ HP_Pirtate@msn.com.

you can also find this information on trdusa.com

check out trdsparks.com. they sell with shipping for less than $3,000.00. everything in the kit including the reflash program. all you need is someone with the adapter tool to perform the reflash and you got yourself one hell of a car.

I'm selling my trd axle back for 300 bucks or best offer if anyone is intrested. It only has about 1500 miles on it. barley broken in. will install if you pick it up.
