so it's official. you MUST have lambo doors to win first place tc at a show...

enough said. im not going to any scion shows unless i know the criteria beforehand. even at that i'd still think twice. i ask the judge "what is the criteria?". he sayd "interior, exterior and engine". id say joe and i had a little bit of everything (joe with the wheels, drop, engine crap, nintendo, etc) (me with the drop, tires, headlights, engine crap, alcantara interior)... the lamborghini wins which is bullcrap because i didn't see his hood popped once throughout the show.. i dont see how you get a 0 for engine and win 1st place - rediculous. you figure they're giving away $1000 theyd make sure they give it to someone that deserves it. whatever /rant.

either way. it was cool kicking it with joe and his fam. the models looked pretty good too. hot dogs were aight. i'd say the 45 minute drive was worth it. cool, show overall. fortunately i dont go to win and it was cool getting compliments on how clean my car is.

 

Yeah.. judging.. what to say...
I kept getting the "clean box" line as well. That tC with the lambo dorrs and no hood popped, did you see him leave? He floored his stock a$$ exhaust, sat on the rev limiter, then missed second.. it was great. Maroone will be better, but yes, the highlight, those models were friggin' hot!!

 

Yea Jason, it was fun kickin wit ya too, and got to take more pics, ok chicks who know nothing about cars, and knowing that if there were ever a track day for all those scions, 1UP would be takin home everything, hahaha

Yea and im also glad it was my brother in law who won the best in show...so big props to him because he put a lot of work into it, which was not ebay built.......

 

Was nice meeting a couple of 1up guys there..very funny that my friend was the only xA there haha..I did expect a bigger crowd tho since it was the first annual show.

Too many lambo doors IMO.

well, this is the same reason why i dont like going to most scion shows either. lambo doors are for lambos, and angel eye projectors are for bmw's. if i see a tc with any of those things, i consider it rice. but i guess, in the end of the day, it's just a crappy show car, nothing more. that's y i enjoy going to dealer shows where the ppl putting it together actually ask us for feedback and ask for suggestions in regards to how they should judge and what they should be looking for.

Which do you mean the CCFL Angel eyes/LED Angel eyes or Halogen projectors/HID projectors? cause there is no such thing as angel eye projectors.
