as for a bbq its a good idea, I had on yest, with spcc. at markham park it was good but a lil too far... so the new park in mirmar would be a great place (even tho its far for joe and juan, 2 out of 10 aint that bad lol) we should start looking up prices and what not so we can maybe do one in 2 weeks or so....

 

So as you all know, I patched the exhaust on the 24th. This weekend I checked the area I had patched. All the material I had put on was gone. Don't know how long it was leaking. I'm guessing the hi-temps + the boosting, had blown off the exhaust repair patch and hi temp gasket sealer, lol. Crappy autozone products, lmao. So I decided to repatch it, but this time I applied much generous portions. I don't think it'll work but well see.

I'll check it out in a few days, if it leaks again i'll move onto some stronger stuff. Usually manufacturers are conservative when they are rating their products, so they don't get sued, if the products doesn't hold up to what they listed on the item.

For that reason i'll be trying jbweld for testing purposes.

Jbweld is not recommended for exhaust repairs because of the higher temps. I want to see how it holds up. It is good for cylinder heads and radiators =) I'll try it anyway. Its also grindable/sandable, lovely product.

Hi-Temp epoxy made by Lab Metals. It has a higher temperature (1000!!! DEGREES listed, so it has to resist more than that) resistance than any jbweld products. Actually more than double the temperature resistance. Can also withstand really high pressure levels. It is also grindable/sandable. It'll be nice to test it out.

I'll tell you all how it all works in the following days

Depending on how it works out, i'll write an article.
