Oh and Jonny and Jason, On wed. I want you guys to listen to my s/c. It may just completely be my imagination but I sounds a little more high pitched at idle...like i said it could be my imagination but if it isn't I need to get it figured out. And my stupid e-brake light keeps comin on every time I accelerate hard...

 

np Julian. Actually, lol, I think the whine got louder on my s/c, but that could just be my imagination as well. jason said he has no problem comparing the idle sound at the meet, so we'll see u there.

as far as the brake light is concerned, i'm guessing your bruik fluid is probably low, or myb the pads could be worn out (this can cause ur fluid to be low). if not, then you may wanna get it checked out.

 

^Yea I need to get my brakes done. And yea, IDK if its our imaginations playin games on us but the whine did seem to get a bit louder at one point lol

I think im gona switch to 10w40 oil on the next change for the s/c

 

thats ur rear brake pads needing replacement with your ebrake light going off....^^

also on the s/c once u break them in.. after a while the seals do thin out which cause louder whines... nothing to get upetty about...if u want jp ill check ur s/c out...

i do recall telling jason when i first heard his that it didnt sound right... hence why he had issues.. until they finally fixed it..

10w40 should def help - i remember reading that on garage1217'a thread a while back. it helps make it a little quietter. and pete, they never fixed it; they just replaced the whole thing. i knew there was a problem before you looked at it, i had taken it to the dealer already, the idiots told me it was normal. i finally took it to another dealer where they told me theyd switch it out.

 

but you could tell it wasnt normal when you heard it. either way its fixed now which is the most important part.
