I'll probably take some pictures on monday though.

Taking out the manifold/turbo/downpipe, makes doing things so easy, lol.

Thermostat was superrrr easy with all the extra room.
Radiator hoses and diversion panel were already easy.

Tomorrow...... 3-Pulley install.

Hopefully I can get the crank pulley bolt out without air tools, if not i'll have to rent one at home depot.
I also have to tighten the new belt properly, and make sure it goes back in the way it was >.<

Wish me luck, first time doing most of this stuff , lol.

Thank you guys for coming to my birthday get-together. A brand new year is just a few days ahead of us, so lets make it a good one to remember.

Remember everyone, Moroso is on January 18, 2008, FRIDAY, and it's open from 6-11pm. We are meeting up at 5:30pm and we will leave by 6pm due to the fact that some people don't get out of work till 5pm or 5:30pm.

^Yea im gona try my best to go.

Ok, so would a header result in slightly better gas mileage for some reason? I don't imagine it would but I seem to be getting a wee bit better gas mileage since the header was put in. Also, since im not throwing a cel the computer isn't adjusting the air/fuel ratio right?

I believe.... that the ecu is always monitoring the afr through the narrowband, and constantly changing the fuel to an extent. So even if you aren't getting a cel, the ecu is still doing its thing.

So if you were to reset the ecu, it would make long term adjustments (first), and once its better fine tuned (a few hundred miles), the ecu switches over and does short term adjustments (second). Oh yea whenever you turn the car off and on, the short term adjustments are reset. Long term adjustments are only reset when the battery is disconnected.

If you are getting better gas mileage with the header, i'm guessing that it makes you run a bit leaner, than before. Would have been nice to have known the AFR before and after the header install @ WOT.

So thats todays class lol.

No it shouldn't affect the s/c, as far as mechanical damage.
Header should give you better top end if i'm not mistaken, and the ecu should compensate for it to some extent, lol. So no problem.

If your talking about the supercharger pulley, I would get a piggy back.
If your talking about the crank/alt/water pulley. should be no problem.

DAY 2!!! Almost finished

I was able to install the Alternator/Water Pump pulleys.

The Crank Pulley is a BBBB!!!ttttchhhhh to remove, i'll try again tomorrow, if I can't get it out after an hour, i'll rent a tool at home depot.

I'm wraping the tubes with exhaust wrap as we speak. I'll spray it with hi-temp silicone tomorrow.

Soooo hopefully, I can get the crank pulley on tomorrow, and continue with the rest of the install.
