Oh denny, I meant to ask you, Ive been reading alot on how with the fidanza flywheel makes it harder to get off the line, whethere your racing or just driving around in traffic. Is that the case?

 

i had herd the same thing, and the only things ive noticed is:

During regular driving it feels the same except you crawl up the rps a bit faster than before.. i dont feel like i need to give me more gas.

But... when ive got the ac on... (normally drive with windows down), i do feel it needs more gas to get off the line. I had always thought i was gonna be reving to like 3.5k to launch, but naw man... if it needs anymore gas which i havent noticed, its very minimal. Remind me the next time we get together, you can try it out

hahha... its probably gonna be worse than yesterdays, but yeah thats the plan. Hopefully from now till then, ill come up with a better one.... we'll see lol

is it really supposed to be harder to get off the line? I actually loved denny's car, the clutch engages so quickly, and the car wouldnt jerk, like with my car. for me it seemed easier, but its probably cuz of the clutch denny has.

 

wtf so what did i miss when i left last night.. ya'll waited until i left to put stickers on ____ lol...

well for those who got a good LOL from my text last night.... i got pinned up with some gti turbo on the highway going home even though i thought to myself wow im gonna get raped because i know im slow right now and im not 100% i said fugit....

laid the hammer down at 40 mph and we took it all the way to 120 and to my shock i was ahead by about 2 cars or a little less. i decided to add some insult to injury and finally peg the car to the fuel cut at 13X so i did... i still had about 300 more rpms in the tranny before redline then boom fuel cut... needless to say car took a small limp like it normally does when u hit the rev limiter then i shut it down ...at about 100 mph the check engine light came on lol woot! car musta said OK OK OK u did it slow down before u get a ticket lol... took it home reset the ecu... all was good again =) .... did some research and the CE light is normal to come on after such an extreme run... well to sleep happy knowing it all held together solid like a rock. but my god i cant wait to fix everything next weekend!!! the spipe dent is really hurtng me as ive noticed it takes me aloooot longer to go through the rpms as before i went to town on it and dented it out of frustration lol. cant wait to run the new set up for now and hopefully get to tunning and fixing the dents and pass. light already...

OMG you just reminded me. I have the extended clutch slave cylinder rod, boxed up in my garage. I put it in there a few weeks ago, and I completely for I had it. I'm gonna have to try and install that this weekend as well. Supposedly it provides better/easier engagement because its, I think 1/2" or 1" longer.

13X = 130 131 or so i dunno since when i pegged it it was at 130 so i figured it toped up 1 or 2 more give or take... or 13X can also be equated to Einstein's theory of hialeah tuning relativity.
