yep, julian make sure to double and triple check those little metal clips that go on each side of ("hold") the pads. when doing my front brakes last weekend one of the clips got bent in towards the rotor as i was putting a pad in and was barely touching the rotor, but enough to make a high pitched squeal until i figured it out and bent them back into position. those clips bend super easy.

johnny was that you i saw on I-595 today, heading eastbound?

Thanks for the info Joe and Ced. Maybe those clip(s) will get bent back in by themselves or something I'll have to take a look at it when i get a chance.

18mm or 20mm. I bought an open-ended wrench just to get it off a while back. I can check later tonight.

Thats why I said I would check, lol. I can't believe I didn't have the tool. I should have paid for a more expensive tool set

I used a ton of WD40 & penetrating oil to get it out. Thank G-d I didn't Strip it, cause it was sold before I took it out.
