Hey guys, I've gone to a few autozones and advance autoparts and they all tell me that they dont have gaskets for exhaust, or high temp. all I get is them giving me a tube of gasket maker. u guys know where i can get the gasket i need?

 

I didnt use a gasket.....

 

its the gasket for the S-pipe to Mid-pipe connection. hey, the ring from the stock S-pipe wouldnt work would it pete?

yes and now.. yes it could work since the diameter of the ring is smaller then the 2 pipes..
no because that gasket over time wears out from heat and you would need to tighten it everyonce in a while as it wears down

thats BS... they should have the gasket..chances are they dont know what the hell you are talking about.. autozone or pepboys should have it... ive boughten it from there many times.. and geo i have the copper gasket sealer and your more then welcome to use it if need be.....today maybe we can swing over to pepboys and see if we can get you the gasket k..?

yea.. chances are we can just put 2 gobs of sealer on both pipes and spread them like butter and bolt them together...that will help.. and once its bolted spread some around the small openings if there are any... what did u do joe?? cuz you should have a gasket for both ends of the spipe.. 1 donut gasket for the header and the regular flat gasket for the spipe and mid pipe connection

NO GASKETS FTMFW!!!!!.....sealer was used, i'll go up in the attic before the meet and see if i can find it....

Which is why i have a leak....but i dunno wat u guys are talkin bout...i havent not changed one pipe............
