k that noise and driving pattern sounds familiar to me... it sounds like u might have finally blown the shock... like before our shocks are filled with nitrogen because the rebound is faster and harder then traditional liquid filled shocks and the nitro last longer in the long run over time. of course yours went because your dropped and the time you've been dropped on the stock shocks finaly jus caught up with you...

the metal noise u hear is the guide inside the shock pinging the break point or pinging the walls because the nitro has escaped and is not alowing the tube to stay in its place during compression

you wont hear it at high speeds because the rebound time at high speeds = less travel on the shock because the amount of time it hits the bump to the time it rebounds is less then it would be lets say in a slow speed bump (if u notice those hurt more or take longer then your average daily driving bump).

to test the shock 1. push up and down on the trouble side and compare it to the passenger side for rebound... also inspect the tube were it meets the shock..if there is grime or some what black residue then its blown.

the only other thing you might want to check out is if the bolts following the suspension are all tight, all there, and also inspenct the 3 main bolts on the bottom control arm (were we took them out to take out the axle) and inspect the bolt on the upper part of the trailing arm ( were the cotter pin is by the axle meeting the wheel hub) if its there and all intact....

if anything LMK and i dont mind swinging by the crib to inspect it also
