i'm bored with my intake plus its scratched to hell so i trying to do something a little different....shoving an HKS twin air intake from an TT RX-7 in there

i dont expect any gains but hey at least itll be different.

i remember for my FC RX-7 making a CAI out of a '92 prelude piping and slapping an HKS foam filter on the end, worked like a charm.

Just called them both.

Mesa won't install the head gasket for me, neither will jp tuning.

This **** is seriously ____ing me off.

I can see why so many people scrap their project. After a while it gets to be a headache.

free 99? lmao!!

I'm not sure, maybe. I was able to do most of it myself I just got stuck with a few things.

It got to a point where I was like "you f**king screw, come out" and I called it a day, and started putting **** back together.

I had to take out the motor mount on the passenger side. I was missing like 2-4 screws off the timing cover. Then remove the chain tensioner. Then take off the cams. Then the head studs. I was close, but it is definitely a PITA.

I hope no one, ever blows their head gasket. For people that are boosted. I think turbocharged have more to worry about though.

For the price of swapping out the headgasket. I might as well swap out the bottom-end
internals and pay some more for labor =/

I wasn't expecting to do this till later on, but I guess i'm going to have to now.
