I remeber seeing a friend do his radio and it didn't look like there was enough wiring to do so. If your looking to put gauges there i think you have to do away with the radio

Yo, it would probably be easier to get a new one before you go to the junk yard or whatever, if you install a used ecu, you will need those same key fobs too. I work at a dealer, lemmy know if l can help. When l get back to work, l can check TIS and see if there is a non s/c flash available.

i dont believe you can undo the reflash. or maybe if they press control+z?

seriously though, im having trouble understanding this... even when you're off the FIC, wouldnt you be better off running the trd flash? i mean, the turbo is still attached to the engine. lol.

I guessssssssssssssssss....

Technically, it should be safer.
Since it does account for a boosted condition.
So it the afr should be richer, and the timing more retarded.

Standalone ftw ^^

oh yea, ctrl + z???
Windows Undo, a rom flash, righttttttttttttttt. LMAO

lol werrrd.

I spoke to Todd from TT's and he said i should be fine with the reflashed ecu and the FIC. I just have to let my tuner know that the ecu has been reflashed. Im actually hoping that lance will do my tune.

I spent the day installing the pedals, overlays, shift **** and ended up wrapping the stock header lol. Its actually not AS ugly . That won't matter once i get a pretty little manifold in there

fine if you want him to run around with idle, fuel, injector pulse, no timing correction, to throttle correct... sure ... do et JP!

Hm....but with a base tune and the reflash with the TT kit bolted on i should be fine right? At least until i get it to a tuner?

i dont think youll have a problem running the flashed ecu. like joe said, your going to be on the fic while you have the pedal pressed... so basically, you should just idle with the ecu.. maybe 10-15% throttle .. if that

no... im saying, when the FIC is not active (someone mentioned it comes on at partial throttle - i dont know how it works). meaning, if you have the FIC and you're idling, the FIC is not in use... so would you rather have a stock ecu running or one meant to work with a supercharger? you shouldnt have to tell your tuner anything unless he's going to upload settings that were previously programmed to work on a tc with stock ecu. if you're tuning on a dyno he's going to adjust it according to what he sees on the computer so that its tuned correctly. flashed or not, he's going to look for the safest conditions that will give you the most power.
