Stock, the S-pipe has the down pipe attached to it.
On my setup its different, its seperate pipes.
I guess when its just 1 whole piece its also called an s-pipe =p
Edit: I'm not to sure now that I think about it. Since its been forever since I took that stuff off.

Unless your on boost the down pipe would be connecting the mani to s-pipe, I see wat your sayin....

I have good news, and great news!!!!
He did a compression test on the engine. It came out PERFECT in all the cylinders.
So its not the head gasket, or a burnt/cracked valve.
He did some more diagnosing.
Only 1 of the 4 spark plugs had lots of carbon residue on it.
So, xB Alex was there, and was nice enough to loan a coil to swap out for one on my car (the cylinder which had the spark plug issue).
BAM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Car turns on perfect and idles perfect!!!!!
IT WAS A FREAKING BLOWN COIL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
So engine is perfect. I have money left over, so i'll probably get it dyno'd and tuned by his tuner.
That means I have a spare head (which i'll be building now), cometic gasket, and arp head studs for later.
I'm selling the cometic gasket. Never been used.

ok i dont understand... so then why were you burning up so much fuel... and also why did u have all of those leaks? all the grease,grim etc etc... did u ask him were all those leaks were coming from?? the grease, oil etc etc or how they got there??
BTW fkn congrats!! lol... does this mean after my tranny swap we are going to the track!
and i guess you owe alex a cheeseburger and coil pack lol im calling him up now to see what the deal was lol

The leaks were coming from the tranny, and the oil catch can, and the side of the engine where the oil pressure sensor is.
Yea after the tranny swap, we're going to the TRACK!!!!
I didn't see Alex that day, this was just stuff kiko told me.
So yea I owe Alex a burger or something, lol.
