anyone feel like racing (moroso)?
so ya, i went down to moroso again tonight and tonight i was the only scion there. granted, i liked the attention that i got, and i really liked the fact that i cut a 15.3 @ 88, but seriously, there needs to be more out there at the test n tune nights. i'll be going down again on wednesday night with a bunch of friends (one of which is bringing a video camera so if u need an exhaust clip video for anything, come on down) and i'd like for a couple of scions to show up. anyone feel like it?

I changed my mind; I'll go. I bet I'll do 16s. Hah. What time are you going down there? Yeah ordered my turbo a month ago; ZPI is just really slow with shipping it out. If I don't get it within the next two weeks I may just get a refund and get a turbo kit with someone else.

we're gonna be leaving PSL around 5 seeing as gates open around 6 and it's best to get tech'd in early before lots of people get there. then again, there really hasn't been all that many people. saturday night i got 8 runs in between 6-930.
16's is what you should expect.

Yeah considering that my tC is pretty much stock I wouldn't expect to be under 16s.

I'm sending my payment for my turbo tomorrow. I should have it in about 2-3 weeks.

GReddy, it's the one I really wanted before all the turbo's came out. Plus I like the look and after it's finished it would have been cheaper then all of them. It'll be under $4k after gauges, BOV, and harness which don't come with the the kit and opt1. Later on I'll upgrade the injectors, emanage to Ultimate, and get a boost controller.

nah, i remembered you were there paul, i just wanted to try and make people feel guilty and come down to the track
so i guess i won't be able to stay in front of you anymore eh? fricking turbo's....
last night was kinda cool. LOTS of sportsman class people, but there was 1 other tC. 06 NBM automatic w/ injen cai and megan exhaust. i think his best run was a 16.4 he said. we had a couple of runs against each other. the last one was the most interesting. we both launched, i cut a 2.3 60' he had a 2.4, i shifted from 1st to 4th accidently, shoved it back into 2nd, i ended up running a 16.2, he had a 16.8.

I think I'm taking my intake and header off this weekend. I might try and get out to the track to see what my car runs without it before the turbo goes in.
So what did you cut off your time after the stiffy install? Do you notice a difference? I'm thinking about ordering it with the rest of the stuff I need for the turbo. I may get the turbo installed and run it, then install the stiffy to see the difference.
