Default Car insurance???

I'm gonig to be moving to FL in the next couple of months from New Jersey, and I wanted to know what some of you are paying for car insurance. I got a quote from Geico and it was actually higher for Orlando than for central Jersey!

So I was wondering what are you guys paying, who's your insurer and what kind of coverage do you have. You don't have to be discriptive, I'm just looking for ballpark figures.

i have geico, and i pay about $990 every 6 months. i've gotten quotes from a few different insurers, and they're all within $30 of that. i really don't know about how it varies by region, as i've lived within a 5 mile radius my whole life. i hope this helps.

I am with Geico and pay $841 every 6 mo. I came from md where the same insurance wouldve been $600. Florida sucks for car insurance because its a no fault state.

I have Geico and pay about $165 to $155 month about $980 total for 6 months. I have everything on my insurance and at least $250K of coverage or more. I have 3 speeding tickets and only one of them on my record (over 10mph). I have no accidents but do have a one small claim reported but never went through with it. I'm also not married nor do have kids (that I know of ). That should give you a pretty good idea since I'm closer to your age. I also live about 1 - 1 1/2 from Orlando in a small but crowded city.
