Default Got the job - now to talk money

Well I was offered the full-time permenant position at Darden.

To bad its 80 cents less then I'm making now and I'm not paying for health insurance coverage. Gotta see how much there insurance is and start talking numbers with them.

Maria

I've already attempted to cover that base by contacting the HR representative for the position. I've also already contacted Tek Systems as I'm in a 6 month contract and I think I have to pay them if I leave before the 6 months is up, so I'm seeing how that'll work out as I'm pretty sure I'm real close to the 6 months.

Well they will only go up by another $500. Guess over 30 people applied for 2 positions and the other dude from Teksystems took the job for the original amount I'm assiming.

So I lose 50 cents an hour but get, vacation, paid days off, and paid during hurricanes. Assuming better benefits (that I have to pay for) along w/ 401k, etc etc etc

I'm going to accept the position tomorrow. It's hard to say no to the only fortune 500 company left in Orlando and a pretty much guarantee for long employment.

I plan on getting back to school ASAP and getting my degree so I can work my way up Darden's career path, at 26, I've got the time and ability to do so.

I actually had James install some custom vinyl (Steelers of course) on the rear 3rd windows and have the knock off E-Sam visors coming (hopefully).

Slowly buy surely I hope to get stuff.

Working at there helpdesk, support all 4 concepts, and assisting for the new POS install over the country. It's crazy busy and tons of different systems in their restaurants (they don't even name the buttons the damn same for everyone).

I was hoping to have it done before the darn hurricane rolls around this week but it won't be. Hoping its a very minor storm (no "hurricane" pay for the temp agency).
