MOST IMPORTANTLY....WHY?

This show is to benefit Dusty Griglen. Dusty is 33 and has been suffering from kidney failure for over 3 years. Dusty was very active in the car show community and loved showing his Subaru show car. He had just started tearing down the motor & transmission to upgrade when he began feeling extremely ill. After being admitted to the hospital, Dusty was diagnosed with kidney failure, was put on a waiting list for a kidney and has required dialysis twice daily ever since. This has had an adverse affect on his way of life and personal hobbies have been put on the back burner until his health is renewed.
Dusty still hasn't been able to get a donor kidney. However, recently his mother, Beanie Griglen, was approved to donate a kidney if one doesn't become available in the meantime. Insurance WILL cover the cost of his transplant but WILL NOT cover his post surgery medication, travel & lodging expenses. He will not qualify for the surgery unless he can secure enough funds to cover the medication in advance. The doctors will not risk a transplant if he cannot afford the medicine recommended to keep his body from rejecting the new kidney. For this reason we are hosting a show for our dear friend Dusty Griglen. The funds raised by the KIDNEY FOR LIFE CAR SHOW will go into a benevolent fund to help with his cost. If you are unable to enter the show but would like to contribute, please go to any TYNDALL FEDERAL CREDIT UNION and say you would like to make a donation to the Dusty Griglen benevolent fund.
