I am not on shift that night and as of now things look good for making it out to Froggers this time.

 

Next get together will be August 22nd. I'll keep trying to make it and I know some day I will. Work has been keeping me busy.

Well since no one showed up last week and no one has posted - this isn't happening anymore..................

I would continue to drive to Mt Dora if I was semi-certain I wouldn't be by myself.

basicly, i have a choice to either go to Mt Dora or go to Old Town each week...

...i enjoy old town a little better

 

Sorry that this is not going off as hoped. Maybe a different night would work better for everyone to be able to make it out or only try for a monthly get together instead of weekly. What do you think? I'll keep trying. Thanks

it would work if the people saying they would go went but people say they are and then back out so most dont bother going in fear of being the onl;y one we stopped going because it went from the regulars that went on our own to have a good time to it being a timely manner thing i go when i want too and get there when i feel like it im not rushing to be there for anyone

 

This is why I think it should be a monthly get together instead of weekly. I guess for some every week is to much to ask. For right now things are on hold but a date will be up and coming. I'm going to put together a flyer and pass some out around the Lake County area and maybe that will help in drawing in more Scion owners and his just might turn into a fun monthly get together after all.

 

If you live in or around the Lake County area and would like to meet up some time please post it here. Plans were to meet at Froggers in Mt Dora but not a lot of people would show up. I'll keep trying and who knows maybe things will get better, if not then its off the Old Town for me...

i think its alot more fun because of the publicity, and the food, aswell as many more scions

on a typical trip to old town, expect a minimum of 4 or 5 scions.

old town every friday for me

 

your not missing anything at mt dora froggers no one shows and if they do they stay for 15 min and are gone if you show a lil late they automatically think u arent coming so they go defenitly not worth the ride from orlando but of course it is froggers so the food is great not as good as oviedo froggers but it is good there as well
