There is going to be a HUUUUUUUUGGGGE SHOW

There is talk of a huge "Scion Only" Show in Atlanta 3-15 & 3-16-08

Held over 2 days over the St Paddys day weekend

Alll Scion Owners and clubs from the Southeast are invited and expected to attend
Scinergy, Scikotics, Evolution, NRG

as this is a Scion Owner and club "love in" event for the southeastern US

This could be the "Scion Nationals" of the Southeastern region

Its about the Scion Brand, the love of cars, and not the egos

Please pass on your interest and in this email to gauge a resopnse to this event so SET will know we are serious in holding the biggest and best scion event in the Southeast

Thanks
Boxzila

Has a venue been decided yet, that could be a determining factor to some people. Details such as show cost, if there will be an indoor section, food / drink / alcoholic beverages on premises, will show vehicles need to be left overnight, is outlet 110 VAC available?, things of that nature would be very helpful.

Default HOEL/MOTEL INFO

HOTEL MOTEL INFO FOR THE SHOWS!!!!!!!

These places I found are right about half way between the two day events about 15-20 minutes drive between the 2

All of the following rates were taken off of www.hotels.com and can be booked and canceled within 24 hours if something comes up, you can book online at hotels.com, the individual websites or call the hotel/motels

Rates range between 41.00 and 89.00 per night between the places

So here we go
This 1st place is not the cheapest, but it is where Bridezila and I stayed for the Backstage/Mall of GA Family affair event last spring. It was very cool, great rooms very convinient to restaurants, the interstate etc. and offers a complimentary HOT breakfast buffet (eggs, bacon sausage, grits, hash browns etc etc etc) and it was pretty decent for a FREE breakfast, met my expectations as a chef!
Pretty good bonus, the other places just offer the samo samo continental breakfast

Bridezila and I will most likely be staying here

La Quinta Inn & Suites Northeast
5945 Oakbrook Pkwy
Norcross Ga 30093
800-804-6835
69.00 Standard King
79.00 double 2-Queens

#2
Red Roof Inn Indian Trail
5171 Brook Hollow Pkwy
Norcross Ga 30071
800 804-6835
Standard room Full Bed 41.00
Business King 45.00

#3
Comfort Inn & Suites Conference Center (next to La Quinta)
5985 Oakbrook Pkwy
Norcross Ga 30093
800-804-6835

COMP Continental breakfast

Standard King 72.00
Double Queen 77.00

Best Western Peachtree Corners
7035 Jimmy Carter Blvd
Norcross Ga 30092
800 804-6835
67.00 double queen

Country Inn & Suites Norcross
5970 Jimmy Carter Blvd
Norcross GA 30071
800 804 6835

King-79.00
Double Queen 79.00
1 Bdrm suite 89.00

There are the convinient room options, there are others like hotels and so on but alot more money, all these places have free parking, and plenty of room to detail cars and so on.

All of these places are very close to "Malibu Grand Prix" and Im going to try to set something up with a racing/games, food package for Friday Night since Saturday AM, PM and Sunday Day are tied up with events now. Cheryl & I will stay at the Hotel Friday and Sat PM

This is geting exciting, Im getting inquirys from the Carolinas and TN now as well and the folks are getting it going with thier clubs

This is going to be soooooo HUGE!

Venues have been posted, hotel motel options have been posted, the Dealer events will be non alcoholic, but there will be food & entertainment multiple locations means no leaving overnight, no power available, after parites are being organized

Please check out the previous post about the "Drury Inn" and get the rates, $64.99 e-rates) we are hoping to make this the "Official Show Hotel" they have 100+ rooms

I will also set up a registry in the coming weeks so we have an Idea what to expect

If we can start a tentative list here, it will help

Still looking for a few AEM sponsors, raffles prizes, etc as well
