The poll was set to expire after 18 days. I've just reopened it and extended it so it will close on Feb 22nd now.

I don't believe DJ_SpaRky intended to close this early... more likely he just forgot to extend it.

 

I went back and checked the Scinergy forum for Georgia and in the last year the good
folks from Georgia posted there over 2000 times. Scionlife is our link to everyone
else. It's not that we have nothing to say but this regional section is better as a link
to the outside world and in that regard we try to keep it for the important stuff. Our
general banter is not needed here.

i think it would be best to keep it..we probably dont post here alot but when we have things going on we need somewhere to post than just our site...we invite new members and invite all scions really to come join us...so whats the big deal its not like its costing anything extra to keep this one sub forumn running..lol..

There may be a show in ATL I might be interested in going to that I would not hear about unless it was posted in the Southeast forums.
I did find it interesting how you all jumped down Sparky's neck like he has a personal vendetta against ATL.
Wish y'all had been as quick to jump in your Scion and attend Exposed Atlanta last year.

 

I would have attended except for the last minute scheduling of the event. I flew out to
Japan on the day of the event. I was very upset that I could not attend. Now I know
that sounds like sour apples and it is. Poor baby got to go to Japan. I would have
loved that party. Maybe next year.

That's how I found this thread, searching for "Exposed", hoping to find info on THIS YEAR'S attempt. I understand it's to be held in the Orlando area, but who knows??

This kinda thing is why so many people can't stand SL, It's TOO DAMN BIG. (There's over 1400 matches for "EXPOSED", in all caps ) I mean really, 20 pages of new posts PER DAY?? The real problem is that most of them are garbage ramblings anyway...

I vote to keep it open.

ATL is the closest hub for any form of activity that I have. Augusta is dead, there is absolutely no car show activity around here. Mustangs and Mopar seam to dominate the market in Augusta. Once the show season begins, I plan to travel to ATL on a regular basis.

I really want to get involved with a club, but nothing available in Augusta. I had just started hanging out with the scionnoics crew in Richmond, VA right before I had to move here.

Ive been considering trying to start a club here, but the locals seem to have little or no interest

OK, so apparently I misunderstood the "Days" thing on the pool and for that I'm sorry, it was NOT an attempt to sway the vote one way or the other. This is just a simple poll, that is all, no hidden political agendas or crap like that. If it was like that why would I have opened a poll to ask opinions, I would have just moved all of the threads and had the Sub Forum remove, But it doesn't work like that.

If you feel that moving all of The thread from ATL to SouthEast is a bad thing vote YES, otherwise vote NO.
Simple YES or NO question, comments are welcome, but ONLY about this question, NOT about other things like how many people showed up to Exposed or how big SL has gotten.

Oh, geez, you guys know I'm a totaly dumb@$$ idiot. Yes Rabid, I meant I vote yes to keep it. When I wrote that above I was thinking it had said should we get rid of the ATL subforum.....not should we keep the ATL subforum.

Yes, yes, keep keep. I've got to start paying more attention to what I'm voting before I vote to sell my car for twenty bucks or something. Yes or No.....that's too many choices for me to think about without confusing the heck out of me.

 

Keep it... not doing anyone any harm and it lets us locals stay a little more organized...ScinergyGA all the way...

 

I was quick to jump in the egg and drag it to the show. You have to understand there is not as many Scion owners in Ga that wants to be apart of a club or event like exposed. Scinergy had allot of Scions at the show and every member that could be there was there. Most Ga people that use scionlife are apart of our club and use or forums to chit chat. We post up here when we have different events or meets going on so we dont make as many post as others. Its just an easy way to see whats going in Atl with the sub forums VS having it all together. Thats just my 2 cent to it or leave it

 

My vote was to keep the Atlanta sub forum.

As many have already stated, most of the Scinergy Ga banter is out on another forum but important info like events/meets/shows get posted and will continue to be posted.

Keep the sub forum up and you will see a bigger turn out on posts in that area, especially now that show season around here is getting ready to start. Remeber...we don't get the warmer weather through most of the winter like the mid/south Florida people, (can you say envy?) so our areas may seem dorment for a while during the winters.
