Default Keep SEA and PDX subforums or not...

There's been some discussion in the PDX forum that these subforums split up the region too much. Give me your $.02 to let me know if we should go back to just one regional forum or keep the SEA subforum. Either way, we may be ditching the PDX subforum, but that hasn't been decided.

I prefer just the one PNW regional forum - no PDX or SEA.

I liked the PNW regional. Because everything was just there.

My preference would be for just one PNW forum (as it was) and right now I do not even bother to check the sub-forums - they could be plotting insurrection in there and the first I'd know of it would be the coup...

I guess I fail to understand further dividing the region. It only makes sense to me if the PNW regional forum contained (and displayed) SEA and PDX as well as all the rest of the region. Since the 'general region' forum doesn't display posts from the sub regions, I'll problaly miss things unless I start checking all three forums, endlessly.

Tomas

P.S. You're right, kiddies! The sub forums under the PNW regional forum are probably the least moderated area of ScionLife right now. Anything in there we should know about?

i agree with having just 1 PNW forum. there wasnt enough traffic before to warrant splitting up the forum in the first place.

I just talked to Darren and he's going to check into the practicality of modifying the forum software to have all subforum topics appear in the PNW main forum. I told him we should axe all subforums since they currently operate independently and he pretty much freaked out. We'll leave these subforums up for now while he explores the modification.
