I'm moving to the ATL! Now where do I want to live?
The GSP uses Lasers A LOT. Look for their door to be open. They lean out and shoot
a handheld laser backward. Downtown I see the APD on motorcycles using the
handheld lasers. If you see one bike there are three more you haven't seen yet. They
hunt in packs. The most I've seen is 16 bikes running a speed trap inside the
perimeter. The perimeter is the I-285 loop around the city. The connector refers to
the stretch of road downtown where I-75 and I-85 merge.

Law enforcement in GA may not "hide" either. If they're running laser/radar, they have to be visible from at least 500 feet away. They're also not allowed to sit in wait at the bottom of a hill. I have seen that done on Ronald Reagan Parkway though, now that I think about it.
We do have tint laws. 32% +/- 3% is what's allowed. That's all windows, except windshield. There's a couple exemptions, like limo's, or if the car came with darker tint from the factory. And of course, law enforcement themselves can run as dark as they want.
Not sure on the lifted/lowered laws though.
