Flywheel & Crankpulley Test fit.
Hey guys,
I'm looking for a FR-S/BRZ owner thats looking to test fit two items. Preferably within the Walnut CA area. Donor car gets to keep parts
I snapped some cell phone pics to give you an idea of what they look like.
Please PM me if you are interested. Thanks for looking.

I havnt really tore into a scion auto trans but i believe the manual trans has a true flywheel and the autos either have a torque converter with teeth on the outer shell or they have a flex-plate that has the teeth the flywheel has but none of the friction pad parts. It may be different on a scion but thats what i see in every truck i have torn into. looking into the image above though it may work on both if the holes drilled in the middle are for the torque converter to match up to it?

Manual car can technically start without a flywheel but will not move. Auto tranny has a torque converter, no flywheel. If it worked that way an auto car would stall at every red light or stop sign lol

The holes on the flywheel are what holds in the friction ring, which is the friction surface the clutch disc makes contact with. I can confidently say that it will not work with an automatic transmission as it was reverse engineered from a stock frs/BRZ flywheel.
