Got my FR-S two months ago and didn't think much of it when my android did nothing when I plugged it into the usb port. I just used bluetooth. So now I want to put a thumb drive into the slot and it is as if it's not plugged into anything. The USB button on the stereo does nothing. It switches from the bluetooth phone to the auxiliary jack but acts like there is nothing plugged into the usb port.

I tried multiple usb devices and made sure they were usb2 and fat32 formatted with nothing but mp3's on them.

Anyone have any ideas? I'm guessing it really isn't plugged into the stereo.

Oh, and it is the standard factory stereo. A pioneer unit.
