3 more days till the season kicks off! Can't believe how time flies. So who's gonna be in Long Beach to see the car in action? For those who can't make it, here's a little teaser of what to expect when Formula Drift visits a city near you.

World premiere action footage of the Formula D spec Scion Racing GReddy FR-S, enjoy!

Saw the Super Street footage and interview of Gushi. Very nice. Car sounds sick, can't wait till this weekend. I just hope they are running live Feed for us who can't be at the event.

So we've shared pictures of early stages of the build, now get to see it in video with commentary from GReddy's President Kenji and Gushi himself. You guys get to see what happened over the course of 6 months all in a little over 4 minutes. Pretty cool to see the progress and transformation.

Hello All! Today we checked in to the venue at Long Beach and got situated as we prepare for our first Formula D competition. We couldn't have asked for a better place to debut the car than to do it in our own back yard. It's always a pleasure to come out to Long Beach during the grand prix month as the atmosphere is always great. Seems like the weather will live up to SoCal reputation and will be nice and sunny throughout the weekend. The car is prepped as best it can be and now it's up to Ken to do the rest. Keep your fingers crossed for us!

We had a little photo op today so we took advantage of the time and great weather!

A nice static shot of the Scion Racing GReddy FRS on the newly paved asphalt. Drivers have been commenting on how much grip the track has this year. It's going to be interesting how all the cars will handle this.

It's gonna be a new year for Ken. New team, new car, new suit, etc. It will be a new beginning to his career to showcase his talents. Hopefully all this will yield podium finishes.

Ken about to throw down with fellow competitor Joon Maeng! However, in a series dominated by V8's these two have something in common. Any guesses anyone?

So tomorrow is qualifying and you can bet we'll be in the show for Saturday's main event! All this hard work will be paying off!

Making the Great 8 on a brand new car I would have to say was a job well done. I will be at Road Atlanta event instead of streaming and can't wait to see this car in person. I talk with Gushi on FB all the time, great job guys. I smell a podium this season.

Our first event is in the bag and we never imagined going as far as Top 8 in our debut! The car was great and Ken was getting more comfortable with the FR-S. Unfortunately Ken was sick on Saturday but like a professional he still performed awesome! He was slightly disappointed when he spun against Dai but the smokescreen from the V8 machine was blinding. He very optimistic that we could have advanced another round if it wasn't for those slight mistakes. This year is looking very promising and a podium is definitely within our reach. With great chemistry among team and driver, the 2012 Formula D season is off to great start!

we'll have more pictures for you soon

Thank you! We've worked non stop on this car so it is very well prepped. It will only get better as the season progresses. We'll see you in Road Atlanta next month.

Syldrin - Long Beach was a sell out crowd and overall great event for everyone. We're happy with our debut performance and it's only going to get better. Unfortunately the car did get a little scuffed up so you can get mad at Ken for that one, lol. The car was rebuilt yesterday and will be displayed this weekend at Long Beach again during the Grand Prix. You can check it out in the Lifestyle Expo inside the arena.

The old cage got bent pretty good so here's the new rear cage that was fabricated in less than 2 days!

We've added a nice aesthetic look to the fenders. Take a look at the picture below for the close up on the bolts.

A close up of the battle scars from Long Beach. Surprised it didn't do more damage or tear it in half

Once the car comes back from Long Beach, our guys will go over the car again to make sure it is prepped for Atlanta. See you guys there!

You know they broadcast the events live over the web right? Gushi finished in the Great 8.
