When it gets to the Step 1-3 for the BRZ mods, it list the AMUSE exhaust as one of the mods. If you pause it at the dyno chart....it shows a 30hp gain from exhaust system. Then it goes on to talk about weight reduction, shaving (170lbs roughly from the car due to the exhaust change, rear seat delete and front buckets swapped for Brides).

 

Nice! I do wish they had used a real dyno though.

Any weight taken off the frs/brz is amazing....170 lbs for the stock exhaust? It's like they made it particularly heavy so people would WANT to take it off, lol!

EDIT: did I click the wrong video? It seemed like a summary of a Best motoring video, didn't see anything about the frs/brz dynoing in there?

 

No, not 170lbs for exhaust, that also did a rear seat delete R&S mentioned as well as lightweight racing seats upfront.

Exhaust system replacement should be good to save 20-25lbs i would guesstimate.

 

^Correct. The 170lbs was a combination of lighter exhaust, seat delete and front seat change.

It does sound very nice... DVD comes out on the 8th if I recall.
