We shall see, but out of the two variations I have to tip my hat to the subi. But that's just my personal preference based on front ends lol

Well I hope you like her overall top notch development between the two companies. The boxer engine is a great powerplant the suspension seems to be set up properly plus the rwd makes it seem like a win.

I think it might be the cheaper non-led strip headlights that makes some people not like the scion/low-spec 86 versions over the high-spec 86/brz.

seeing them in person didn't change my mind one way or the other, they look just as good as ever
I, for one, prefer the FR-S front end to the BRZ, both are nice, but I think the toyota/scion is more aggressive. the black mouth guard looking thing on the BRZ doesn't help though.

If the front end is your real concern then wait just a little bit. There are going to be more options released for the FR-S, they just didn't make the launch.

There's more on my Flickr from when I drove an AT Whiteout and a ride-along in a 6spd Firestorm.

This FR-S arrived Wednesday last week and was sold the same day. Had to stop by and snap a pic, or a few lol. Unforunately there was a car blocking the front and bushes on the driver's side.

Myself? They're Bellezza(advertised as them anyways). Got them off eBay for less than half of a set of Clazzio which is why I went for it. Actually got two sets with the same center diamond pattern, suede center is what's currently on, have an all PVC set in the corner of a room.

Another pic to just keep on topic lol.

That car has no rear passenger room, at all. I think it should have been made a 2-seater from the jump. More pics.

Crazy how you see the fender liners from the engine bay. I forgot to look at that when I had time with the car.

I noticed that instant, def will make for a dirty bay for anyone that removes them, for whatever reason, lol. Also looked at the rear fender lip and it's maybe half of that of the tC1, maybe the fender roller experts can chime in if it's good or not.

I read the fender lip was made smaller because the engineers were thinking of those who will equip it with wider wheels.

2013 Scion FR-S rear fender by 09 RS 5, on Flickr

The Fenders are rolled from the factory for anyone wanting to throw on those wider wheels and tires.

I sat in a Firestorm FR-S today (didn't test drive as it was already sold). Damn do those seats hold you! They are as snug if not more snug than the Corbeau seats in my tC were. Strudy as hell. The Dash is very "rugged" and looks very durable. I can see the seat material longevity being a slight issue, but other than that, I absolutely loved the seats. The seating position was super low. When in it, I felt like I was IN IT if you know what I mean. I tapped the paddle shifters (it was an auto), and they feel very solid.

The dash being "T" shape pattern looks more Carbon Fiber in person, and I can see what the Auto mags all talked about. It kinda takes away from the dash and brings down that perceived value. I hate the Silver in the BRZ, but the fake carbon could use some replacement. Perhaps removed and wrapped in leather and maybe a TRD badge on it or something would be sick.

The Engine bay in person actually looks rather spacious imo. The car also appears larger to me than what I was expecting. I think it's because it's so wide that it appears larger. It has one helluva stance.

That's my first impressions from only being with it for about 10-15min since I had to get to work.

I was surprised when I was able to park my tC next to one it wasn't as small as I thought either, with my car lowered I wouldn't be able to give a fair comparison of the roof line height but can imagine it's def lower. I agree the seats do hold the driver snug, the material longevity of the seats will be something all will find out about later. Wasn't really too crazy about the faux CF pattern on the dash either, would have been nice if it was really CF, could do a vinyl wrap though.
