Default Pics of FRS/BRZ

Hey guys,

Just thought I would post some shots I took at the Dallas Auto Show yesterday of the FRS/BRZ!!

First the FRS:

I know some people wanted to get a perspective of the size of the car. It's a pretty small car! It reminds me a whole lot of the last generation RX7!

Nice seats. Would look even better if they were leather. They are very nice and snug and would hold you in place a lot better than the TC seats.

The interior is nice. It doesn't seem too cheap. Just about right for being a car priced in the mid 20's. The radio seems very cheap, but that is something that can easily be swapped out. The red stitching is very nice around the interior including the doors and compliments very well to the overall look and feel of the car.

Now for the FRS's cousin, the BRZ.

Wow doesn't it look completely identical to the FRS?? I was surprised to see that the FRS and BRZ were both silver at the show. I was really hoping that the BRZ would at least be in the Subaru blue.

You can compare the height of the representative to the left with the car. She was probably about 5'9.

I actually got to sit in the interior of the BRZ and it looks identical to the FRS. Seats are comfortable, and it does feel very sporty. I think the subaru WRX STI has a better quality seat, but the dash on the WRX does not look as good of a quality as the BRZ. I was also very disappointed to see that they brought an automatic to the show instead of a manual so I did not get a feel for the clutch or the shifter. The WRX STI however did come in a manual, and that thing feels beastly!!

Hope you enjoyed!

what's up with the ugly color and wheels? I like almost everything about this car except the color and wheels. Scion has some decent colors to choose from.

the subaru is going to be "around $25k" for the base model, standard LED DRL, LED halo, HIDs, NAV and the nicer seat cloth without the red on the shoulders.
if it isn't more then $2k then an FR-S, which it isn't sounding like, scion pricing fail.

i cant wait to see it in person tho.
also i heard the brz got better numbers on dyno at cobb..
Also its only 1k more than the frs + the standard model of the brz comes with a touch screen navi. head unit =] + few more whp as butt dyno says
