No one can tell you if its worth it or not.

Weight what you want in a car, with how much the car costs. Is it worth it to you?

Does the car have a check engine light? Was the blown engine claimed under insurance? Is it on the car fax? If not, then you will most likely be fine and they will not be able to tell.

Well went to test drive the frs and I loved it

But I fidnt get it dealer was valueing my trade for only 12k nd I owe 19k....so couldn't get it cause they wanted to add 7k onto the price of the frs.....

Maybe later I will get the frs but the car was good handling and was surprisingly fast

Just wanted to add my 2 cents...

Got my FRS a little over couple of weeks ago

i got trade value for my White 2012 TC2 with 27,000 miles for $16,000.
I still owed about $15,500.
Dealer even removed my UNICHIP & ENKEI WHEELS for me and took my stock TC wheels back. (I originally said $16,200 and I take the wheels and uninstall the mods myself, but they offered $16,000 and they'd do the labor for me as long as I took delivery of FRS that day)
I got a Certified used WHITE 2013 FRS with 1,500 miles for $23,000. Already had AFE Takeda cat-back and Intake installed on the car. I also got promotional 1.9% Finance rate for Toyota Certified used Labor Day weekend special.

I went into the dealership knowing exactly how much I wanted/needed for the TC2 and what I was willing to pay/ thought the FRS was worth paying for. Didnt think they would do the deal but they took it.

Always do your research first, and walk in knowing exactly what you want and be prepared to walk out. Dont go in there desperate or unconfident. If a dealer wants to make a sale... they'll make a sale. This isnt the first time I've gotten I've traded in a car and got high dollar. My 2008 STi with 63k miles few years back was worth only $19000 trade value and I traded it for $23,500. Traded it for a used 2007 350z and got a good deal on the Z too.
