Congratulations on your new iQ and great choice on the HID's. I also have the 6K on mine and they are, in my opinion, the perfect brightness.

i was going to ask you how you got your lights to be such a sharp cutoff, mine are not as sharp of a cutoff line. its kind of blurred and not aimed in one spot.

Mine look like one side is shining farther too when I'm driving. They fill up the entire area in front of the car but at a distance the line is not a defined.

well I got mine to look like yours, i had mine turned the wrong way in the front. i had to twist it to lock in the headlight a different way. also the high beam do you know if its an h11 as well? i wonder if you could add hid to that as well. i dont want to add leds to that because i had those before and they are just for looks.

I wouldn't change out the high beams to HID, you want immediate light when using those and HID's take a few seconds to reach full brightness.

Glad you got the level thing worked out.

Hey guys Im new to the forum, I just picked up my new iQ last Wednesday. THe high beams are 9005. But I have a question. I have installed a lot of HID kits on my previous kits, but the cars were outside the warranty. If I install an HID kit, I know i need to cut a hold in the cap for the wires, and does installing the HID kit void anything on the factory warranty?

to you guys with HIDs how is the cut off? It seems as though the stock projector does not have a good cut off, at least compared to my 4Runner's kit. I am therefore hesitant to put HIDs into the housing, plus the adjuster ***** are impossible to reach.

Adjuster **** requires a long screwdriver to adjust. My HID's are more flat {___} then flat with right high side {_/}.

Hi everybody I'm new to the forum and I recently made the best choice in my life of buying the Scion IQ. I want to install some HID on mine but I am a complete noob about it. I've been searching around on how to do it and I have an idea more or less. But my question to u guys is do you know any good brand of HIDs for the car? Of so, which one? I greatly appreciate any help

Congratulations on your new iQ and welcome to the forums.

Two places I suggest for HID lights are www.ijdmtoy.com and www.o-nex.com

Both companies offer excellent quality lighting systems and great prices.
