Directions to remove the Head Unit on 2012 Scion iQ



Grasp edge of triangular shaped center console piece and pull forward...





Disconnect two wire socket connectors from the emergency flasher and AC control ****...





Remove the upper head unit hosing by grasping from the rear edge and pulling up...





At this point you can set the upper housing on the dash or disconnect the display light wire connector and remove the housing completely.

Remove the four 10mm bolts holding the head unit frame, two on the left and two on the right. Be careful that they do not fall into the dash...





Once the four bolts have been removed you can remove the head unit from it's housing...

 

Hello friend, I am new here and I'm not sure if this came up before but what I wanted to ask is can you tell me where I can get the Top Part of the fascia from,
I'm from the UK and these parts are not available here, what I want to do is remove the CD player that came as standard and replace it with a Double DIN stereo system.

Any help or link will be appreciated.
