Default Stock head unit question

I have the pioneer base head unit in the IQ, (non navi unit). No plan for a new head unit in the near future, so was wondering if this pioneer deck has built in RCA's to add an external amp?

Thanks

My guess would be yes but I can't say for sure. It's a simple job to remove the head unit and look behind it if someone else doesn't post up an answer soon.

Does that upper piece around head unit pop off like center? Are there a couple screws in it once you pop off center piece?

off topic, is front bumper fairly easy to get off/on?

In the event someone else is curious, the IQ's base pioneer deck does have RCA outs

I also would like to know how the console is removed that is around the radio. I've got a amp/sub kit and I'm ready to install it. Question is, what kind of clips am i looking for and in what areas?

Any help would be great!

It's honestly the easiest thing ever. Your best bet is pull off the center piece where the 1,2,3,4 a/c control is, just pull it off with moderate pressure along the edges. Then work your way up with the next piece. Everything comes off fairly easy. The toughest piece is around the head unit itself and that just requires you to pull it forward.

Any ideas guys on how to wire the amp from the battery through the car. Ive gotten stuck at this point and cant find a hole that will work to send the wire through.

Did you ever found a hole to run the power cable from amp to battery. Where is it?

If you look up under the dash on the driver side you will see a black rubber grommet that has a wire loom running thorough it. You can poke a hole in that grommet to run your wire or drill a new hole and use a rubber grommet to protect the wire.

Be careful to check on the engine side of the firewall before drilling to ensure there is nothing in the way that will be damaged by a drill bit.
