Default Is it possible to go from 16" to 15"

Let me ramble a bit and see if this logically makes sense in my head then reality. I want a lightweight rim and I'm not going to fork out anything more than $500 per rim....I could always find used volk, rays and other forged rims but the one that I have my eyes on is this

13.6 lbs

Now I want to get a lightweight rim for better acceleration, braking and of course mpg. Im not expecting huge gains but I feel like if I'm gonna for out $300 per rim then I might as well get new tires as well. My question is it possible to put a 15" rim on the car which would hopefully translate into a softer ride because of a thicker sidewall and that there are more options for 15" rims and they are a lot cheaper too.....I could always cop out and get konig heliums; lol.....but i would prefer a classier rim.....if you know what i mean, someone chime in and I putting my money that surfcity will be the first to answer...lol..thanks

They should fit, if you have the right offset. Best thing would be to try a set at the dealers first.

You will be fine with either of those wheels. The offset range you want is 35 - 45. Keep in mind that with the 15" wheel you will have more wheel gap than before. Are you planning on lowering the iQ at all?

15 are fine. 195/50/15 tires. Drop it cuz its gonna be a big gap. I wouldn't go bigger on the tires. It's gonna look weird.

For offset, like the other guy said 35-45, but if you want a better stance go with +25 anything lower you will need to roll the fenders. That's only if your dumped tho.
