come on im becoming very very upset with toyota now STOP PRODUCING THIS DAMN CAR already. you think with the economy they would want to stop production of a car. even if they didnt have a replacement for it this year. they should of went a year with out a tc and then released a replacement and saved money.

WTH? I think they're making money from selling tCs, so why not keep selling them to make more money? Maybe if you were Toyota/Scion you'd want your company to continue making money off profitable cars?

listen i went to the scion dealership every weekend when i bought by 07 tc it was the frist brand new car i bought and still my only brand new car i have ever bought. but anyways i went to the dealership for like 3 months after school every weekend till i finaly bought it. so i got very close to my sales man lol. we called each other by first names. so when i walked in and told him i was gunna buy it today cash he was like "finaly man" so after everything was signed i asked him how much money do make for selling this car he said he only pockets a 100 bucks so toyota must not make that much off them since they are pure priced he told me they make most of the money off the toyota labeled cars.

so y not go with out the car for a year i am tired of seeing everyone and there sister with the tc's now

The problem here is that Scion boasted in the beginning that they would keep the model line minimal, and those produced would only be produced for 2-3 years. The tC has been around for how long now? Now add to that another year for a new model, and still riding the only money maker for Scion.

O well, i figured a new model wouldn't be coming anytime soon. O well, I'd rather wait and they get a new redesign right and not rush it.

Remember when scion said they were dropping the xB nameplate? Yeah, same situation, lol.

They made an economical decision and this time I 100% agree with hem. I am still a little peeved over the xB thing, but w/e. Scion is keeping the tC because the economy is sh*t and they are making money off these things, so why stop and have a likely chance of failure.

Toyota makes money off these cars or else they wouldn't produce them. Your salesman is kind of a tard. If toyota was not making a pretty good sized profit off the scion brand and its vehicles, the brand would cease to exist.

so every year they change the interior color of the tc whats the point of that......at least put some more power in the engine the should start to go by WHP instead of hp cause 160 is really 150 hp....i say at least 200 hp which would then be like 190 whp.....

At least put the new 2.5 and the 6-speed from the Camry in the tC.

Well this is a let down but most of yal act like you didnt expect it. Seriously if there was gonna be something new there wouldve been a spy shot or some better rumors abotu it. But regardless we all may think the tC is played out which it kinda is but the body styling is still good for the times and the standard features are a great deal. I really hope this means somethign great is coming but we shal see. Plus with Tanner Foust making another tC drift car it shoudla hinted that it was sticking around a lil longer especially since you need to mod the hell out of it for it to drift.

I wonder what's going to happen with the Scion brand. Toyota's new president wants to do things on the cheap rather than cutting edge.
