love em or hate em, they're gonna be at the Scion dealer shows and such and you will ALL go to check it out. those that bring them will be the stars of the show whether you like them or not.

 

Isn't Scion supposed to be funky and different? I like that the back doesn't flow with the front. It looks different for a quick revision of the tC. With some good wheels and a drop, it'll look better than the original.

I like this model a lot, but there's no way in hell I'll give up my xB2. Not after all the heads I turn with my mods.

You guys should test drive it first before you make a decision. I bet it's a blast to drive.

I think whats funny is that there are a million sites saying a million different things. Celica, Ft-86, FrS????

Do you all think this vehicle will fit better in the Scion line-up or Toyota? My worry is that it will end up Subaru.

 

theres no proof that the ft-86 is gonna be released. let alone released as a celica. my regional toyota/scion reps are saying that its definitely not going to be a celica. they discontinued the celica because it didnt sell, they arent going to come out with another car and call it the same thing as something that failed. its going to be released as a new model.

 

Wow Toyota. Everything that made the first gen tc gorgeous they just took and threw in the dumpster. Not impressed...

Yeh....but the body is so.... ugly... It's too boxy IMO. It lost it's uniqueness. Now it resembles all the other coupes on the road. The first gen just seems to pop more. But maybe that's just me.

 

Features-wise I guess it's ok. But I'm not going to buy a car just because of it's features. It looks like they took the 1G and put it in a trash compactor then added a few new gadgets. Not trying to hate on anyone that does like it. It just isn't my cup of Mountain Dew.

 

btw the trd sway bar upgrade for the new tC afaik is a front and rear upgrade!

 

Maybe a newb question but whats this? Upgraded axels or something? OR another name for LSD?

just saw the new tc ad in the movie theater.... holy... kinda cheesy, the funny part is it looked like they were all the five axis version, guess scion realized how ugly they were stock haha.. still the ad gave it more credit than it probably deserves. still ugly

 

I just wonder who in the Scion world blows who in Scion Corp to get invited to special previews of their new cars.

 

People that work for scion lol. I've Bern to two events and have seen the tC 4 times in person and drove it twice. But I have still yet to drive the standard trans. Also I didn't blow anyone
