It's another BLUE tC... the RS6.0
Ok, first of all, I'm not talking about stock tCs. I said RS, did I not. The exhaust on the RS 1.0 raised the HP 3-5. Secondly, I said stock Supra. NOT the factory one with a turbo. I just said my FRIEND has a turbo one. Not that his has 200-230 HP. Read every word before you go spouting off about stuff. This is forum of common interest, not for people to start stuff because I'm a girl or whatever. If you want to start stuff, go to the middle school playground and pick on someone your own size.
even thought that game and discussions with someone who seems to not know they have wrong info would be much more enjoyable then this sorry excuse of an RS6 tC. its off topic. lol
the RS 5 tC has the same HP as any other tC even though it has the TRD exhaust, any gains from it are negligible, hell sometimes the TRD exhaust has been dynoed and showed a DROP in HP/TQ.

Also I've noticed in this entire thread two other points have been brought up that I think need fixed as well.
First, the stock Mk2/Mk3 supra was quoted to be between 200-220hp depending on the configuration and location of build. European and Japanese editions (JDM) were tuned differently and were built on this gradient. The MK4, aka 93-98(not produced in 98 but 97's were rebadged and sold in 98 as a Special Edition) came with the 2jzge at ~220hp and the 2jzgte at 320hp with CT20/CT12B twin-sequential turbo chargers. The car was quoted at 0-60 in 4.6s. There are variations of hp for each year and engine produced from the Mk1-Mk4 just as there is for any automobile. No sense trying to act like you know everything about a vehicle and disputing something that is variable depending on where you bought the car and what modifications are done to is, such as the stock supra(turbo or na) or a tC RS 1.0 with a performance modification that comes stock and is not stock on the hp quote for the tC base model.
Last comment would have to be about the OPTIONS of the tC. Stock pricing for the car is well under 20k. The TRD RS5.0 is closer to 21k and comes stock with ... special edition paint color scheme, interior seat package, badging, 18 inch wheels wrapped in Proxie 4's, TRD Lower Coils, TRD Rear Sway bar, and the TRD Axle-back muffler system. This does in fact, change the aerodynamic stance of the car(although not dramatically) and does accommodate for a slight increase in Hp over a stock tC. The options provided for the price are a decent improvement without taking into account the interior package(which was not taken into consideration) or the aftermarket paint job. Someone quoted 33k with available options, but why pay that kind of money when you could buy an Audi, Infinity, or Nissan for the same price and smoke the doors off of the tC. Pure personal preference. If you are the type of person who wants something rare, the RS packages are the way to go. Toyota has a nice product and they want to appeal to the collector and car show enthusiast so they release a special edition. Although not significantly faster, it is a special edition, and for the rarity, the price is in the right ballpark for most buyers.
If your on here to gripe and try to belittle people, go somewhere else. If you want facts and to share your experiences and good times, then hang out and have a good time. If you have nothing nice to say, then maybe you should sell your car and buy a Honda.
I won't hate on you if you do, I own a Honda .. lawnmower.
RS or not they ALL have the same HP. TRD exhaust does nothing for perfomrance bc its just as restricting as a stock exhaust. you seriously dont know what your talking about so just not say anything else about the tc
WHAT??? are you seriously saying that a TRD AXLEBACKK gains 2-10 hp? then you seriously live in a dream land, TRD exhaust is just as restricting as stock just with a lower rumble and deeper sound. SO you seriously need to look into that.
STOCK rs1.0 DOES not dyno at 163. so again someone needs to look into what there talking about. so your saying every car with the same TRD exhaust dyno 2-10 hp more? roughly at 163? right..

On an entirely different note, I also am not a fan of the 6.0. A special edition should come with its own paint scheme, not shared with other models of the same or previous years. The graphic on the side is hideous and I would have to have it removed. The interior accents are nice but would have been better if the exterior paint was special as well.
I am upset that TRD discontinued the Supercharger and LSD. Kind of makes the Carbon Fiber engine cover pointless now since it says Supercharger on it. Unless your lucky enough to get a hold of one, and can push a nice ~180 engine horsepower. I'd rather just do a RS-R conversion to RWD and turbo the car, or just buy a MK4 Supra and consider that good enough. They could have applied a few different points of interest to the new 6.0 and I think it would have a better head turning. There a lot of the older people in the sports car world that prefer to stay away from the ricer look.

heres a thread to help with true tC infos.

otherwise you guys need to keep to the topic of the RS6 and not the specifics of other cars.

Because people like to start drama.
In my defense, I got my stats from another scion forum (not this site) and from ign.com. So apparently I'm wrong. Don't blow it out of proportion. And I agree... it's beginning to sound like a bunch of rice burner owners fighting about stuff. We're better than that people.
Anyway.... I still don't like the RS 6.0. They could have done better. Although, I do like the interior. It's like mine, but blue, and I like blue, so I can't complain.
