I visited checker flag smart in va beach a few weeks ago. Having riden and owning a geo metro, its great. You sit higher, its more beef around, plus you can turn sharper with more power. The metro you just get squished since its soo low.

My only concern is getting ping pongged out of traffic in a pile up and just bouncing around like you are in one of those hugh inflatable ***** rolling along the country side of europe.

I rode in a SMART car, took me a tenth of a second after nearly getting butt ended by a Tahoe, to say f@ck this!

Screw it, you only live once. I refuse to let the idiotic SUV-lovin' American populace determine what I drive.

SOLD!!!!!!!!!!!!

I dont like the flat front of the smart, makes it look high center. Likely to pitch forward during a crash.

EDIT: All snap, look at all the you tube videos regarding the iq!!!!

I just want to say anybody who is complaining about performance in this car is missing the boat. This is a economy around town car. If you want performance buy a sports car. sheesh! BTW I think the scion IQ concept car looks like a hermit crab.

VIP IQ-who would have thought?

Smart is rear engine-under the deck behind the seats.

The bodykitted ones look nice (tha axis show model) but in person they are going to have to looks somewhat cartoonish with big flares and lips-personally I think that is the coolest part-they don't look like the usual cars (like the camry, accord, sonata, etc family)
