That is the only place they merge (so far). I was told this by numerous dealerships. That scion is it's own company in japan and is liscenced by Toyota out here.

As for what you said about Celica engines, I highly doubt my tC is on a Celica block since the specs are different and the Celica's been discontinued (its actually a newer Gen Camry block). And from what I believe, there isn't even Scion in Japan from what I believe, but I can be wrong about that.

i've seen it a few times at some shows, the orange one is hot too, if they start producing em' like this it doesn't leave us car enthusiasts anything to do to it, cause the maker will have already done it, i definitely agree though the xA body does need a little something more

I kinda liked the way all these looked. Especially out on the track during the photo shoot. I had see the one chopped xA in the Scion Magazine you get at the dealership, but I didnt think it was real until I saw it in person. I love the colors too. That one odd looking chopped ont in the middle has 2 xbox 360s in it! man oh man! lol

Hmmm, I've heard rumors about the "Scion xR". Looks like this may be it. Rumor goes that Scion is getting the redesign of the Matrix to replace the xA...but that's just a rumor...

well if it is a matrix and it is better than the old ones ill be getting myself one. i loved my old one.. a xr AWD the only problem i had was it lacked some power to the wheels. so im praying that they do put a larger engine if they bring it over..
