I like the changes.... THe TC is still a great looking car no need for major changes yet.

Meh, keepin mine another model cycle I guess. I'll wait for a better power plant or something like a awd option, or eventually trade out to something with more 'umph'

I decided awd is a must because, snow is a bi-otch.

Heads and tails are ok. Wonder if the light sockets from an 05' harness will fit in these new ones.

The only thing I think was big mistake was the grill. What is with the funky holes. They almost look random, like the machine messed up when cutting them. Different is fine. Different and stupid looking isn't.

Hopefully the grill will hardly be noticeable, so maybe it won't detract from the car unless you are really close to it.

Dude I like the head/tail lights, but does anyone notice anything off on the passenger side healight? It doesn't for to the body, it's looks like a bubble! Has our headlight always been like this?

Agreed, the grille looks really cheap, I guess they're trying something to make the TC less cost effective, by trying something new. I prefer them having the horizontal grilles or the currentones really aren't that bad. The hexagon shaped grille really makes the scions REALLY unique in a sense!

The headlight lens don't look smooth. Lens looks protruding.

Just wait for the redesign for the '09 model year. Btw check out http://www.leftlanenews.com/2007/02/08/2008-scion-tc/ in order to see much better pics. Also, I'm not really sure if im liking the new trim on the interior door handles.

LOL!

http://www.leftlanenews.com/wp-conte...78&idg=1&idi=6

is it just me, or does anyone see that this car is FILTHY? There's a scratch on the coin holder cover (actually, to the left of it), dirt on the pocket on the driver's side door, the carpet hasn't been vacuumed on the passenger side, and all interior surfaces look like they're super old, and untreated and uncleaned! lol... maybe THAT's the real reason Toyota requires registration to view high res images

The area around the ignition has also been abused (people really can't put a key in a keyhole, can they?), and the handbrake is totally loose - look at how high it is. I was under the impression they fixed the handbrakes in 07's as mine comes up at maybe HALF the height of that one, even at full lock.

Also, where's the immoblizer LED, and the Pass. SRS indicator light.

true indeed. What's up with that?

It looks like they took a 07 tc and just slapped on a bunch of random stuff. Oh wait, that's what they actually did.

BURN!!!!!

^^^ Anyhow it goes, I think Scion really did not do any dramatic changes for the 08' tC. They spend more time and money for the 08' xB, which I think is nicely done in and out. Maybe 2010 is the year for the dramatic changes for the tC.

^^ well it's been 2 year since it has been released. It may be too early for body changes. I've noticed that Camry's change their body style every 3 to 4 years.

Yea I agree. I'm sure there's something much bigger in store for either next year or '10. I mean, what else was Scion supposed to do? Make a minor body change then be forced to make all new panels, even though they're going to make what we assume is an all new tC? Naa. Oh well, worse things could've happened
