i didnt see the leaked images to see if they were what we saw but its sounds close,
and we can't confirm or deny anything we have said :lol;
but i agree that i dont think some design aspects of the roof wont be produced like that but the basic idea i dont see why not.
I love it!

not entirely sure why these important scion people were here. but they decided that they wanted to try a focus group dinner type thing and our local awesome dealership who started scion here in DFW chose a few owners who have been around for a while and are in the local car clubs to get our opinions.
i've been around since 05 and am the 2nd in charge of the scikotics chapter here.
so we all got to go to fancy restaraunt and eat and have margaritas and talk concepts and direction and what we like dont like, all on scion's dime. and then get cool stuff in the mail.
the VP is actually a cool guy, hes not "stuckup business man" at all and was genuinely interested in what we had to say and that he shared some of the wants that we also had.
like the tCs drab color pallet and the preference for turbo over supercharger.
also talked about other stuff that would fall into toyota or lexus. most memorable was their partial stock in subaru and how we thought of the awesomeness that a new corolla sti would mean.

I just don't see any current Toyota platform being sized right for a 'deuce coupe'. The only thing that would serve any kind of justice, would be the Lexus SC430...Everything else in Toyota's lineup is meant for FWD and has way too short of a hood. I'd love to see that concept drawing turn into a real Scion, I really would. But if it's based off any current Toyota/Scion platform, it just won't do justification.

lol i like it. but the windsheild...
